Fast, one man operated trailer coupling and lifting system the Transtec Gooseneck provides a simple yet secure method of connecting the tractor with a basic roll trailer.

Coupling and disengagement of a roll trailer is effectively controlled by the driver direct from the tractor cab by simply elevating or lowering the tractor's 5th wheel providing assured operational safety guaranteed by the safety coupling.

By elevating the tractor's fifth wheel, there is a fully automatic tractor / trailer inter-coupling.

The Gooseneck's design is fully proven in heavy Ro/Ro operations.

An automatic anti-swing mechanism maintains the Goosenecks centre position and therefore prevents the possibility of dangerous swinging on the fifth wheel when detached from the roll trailer.

Goosenecks are available in three size types SH 30, SH 36 and SH 45.
The type to be chosen is directly related to the lifting capacity of the tow tractor.
Nowadays payloads of up to 200 tons and more are very common.
